मुंबईतील ऐतिहासिक व धार्मिक वारसा स्थळ Banganga Tank आणि परिसरातील Walkeshwar Temple येथे दररोज देशातील तसेच परदेशातील पर्यटक मोठ्या संख्येने भेट देतात. परंतु प्रत्यक्ष परिस्थिती अत्यंत चिंताजनक आहे — तलाव परिसरात कचऱ्याचे ढीग, प्लास्टिक, बांधकाम अवशेष आणि अस्वच्छता स्पष्ट दिसत
