६ महिन्यांच्या सततच्या पाठपुराव्यानंतरही @mybmcWardB वॉर्डातील इमारत व कारखाना विभागाकडून इमारतीच्या व्हरांड्याचे अवैधरित्या दुकानात रूपांतर केल्याबाबत ३५१(१A) अंतर्गत नोटीस बजावण्यात आली, मात्र अद्यापही कोणतीही पाडकामाची ठोस कारवाई करण्यात आलेली नाही. या प्रकरणात संबंधित अवैध बांधकामाला संरक्षण मिळत असल्याची गंभीर शंका निर्माण होत आहे. विशेषतः इमारत व कारखाना विभागाचे अभियंता श्री. शानफ यांची भूमिका संशयास्पद वाटत असून, इमारतीतील काही रहिवाशांमध्ये अशी चर्चा आहे की या प्रकरणात आर्थिक गैरव्यवहार (अंडर टेबल व्यवहार) झाला असावा? @mybmc प्रशासनाने या प्रकरणाची सखोल चौकशी करून दोषींवर कठोर कारवाई करावी, तसेच अवैध बांधकाम तात्काळ पाडून कायद्याचा योग्य अंमल करावा, ही सर्वसामान्य नागरिकांची ठाम मागणी आहे.
